Summer tbr part 2

A couple of weeks ago I posted part one of this article, today it's time for part two. These are the other books I want to read this summer.

The first book I want to read is Never Fade, this is part two of the darkest mind trilogie, I loved the first book but I hadn't gotten around to reading it, now is the time! The summary for this one will be he summary of the first book, no spoilers :)
When Ruby woke up on her tenth birthday, something about her had changed. Something frightening enough to make her parents lock her in the garage and call the police. Something that got her sent to Thurmond, a brutal government “rehabilitation camp.” She might have survived the mysterious disease that had killed most of America’s children, but she and the others emerged with something far worse: frightening abilities they could not control.
I also  want to read the third book in the series In the afterlight.
All the light we cannot see was a book everyone on bookstagram and booktube was talking about and as someone who hasn't really read any historical fiction I'd love to read it.
Marie-Laure lives with her father in Paris near the Museum of Natural History, where he works as the master of its thousands of locks. When she is six, Marie-Laure goes blind and her father builds a perfect miniature of their neighborhood so she can memorize it by touch and navigate her way home. When she is twelve, the Nazis occupy Paris and father and daughter flee to the walled citadel of Saint-Malo, where Marie-Laure’s reclusive great-uncle lives in a tall house by the sea. With them they carry what might be the museum’s most valuable and dangerous jewel.
In a mining town in Germany, the orphan Werner grows up with his younger sister, enchanted by a crude radio they find. Werner becomes an expert at building and fixing these crucial new instruments, a talent that wins him a place at a brutal academy for Hitler Youth, then a special assignment to track the resistance. More and more aware of the human cost of his intelligence, Werner travels through the heart of the war and, finally, into Saint-Malo, where his story and Marie-Laure’s converge.
The assasin's blade, another one of those series everyone has already read except for me, but I'd love to get in the Throne of Glass series, so this is the perfect start.
Caleana Sardothien owes her reputation to Arboynn Hamel. He gave her a home at the Assassin's Guild and taught her the skills she needed to survive. Arobunn's enemies stretch far and wide - from Adarlan's rooftops and its filthy dens, to remote islands and hostile deserts. Caleana is duty-bound to hunt them down. But behind her assignments lies a dark truth that will seal her fate - and cut her heart in two forever...
After reading Miss peregrine's home for peculiar children I had a lot of mixed feelings, I just couldn't really get through the story but at the same time I loved it, so I decided to pick up the second book Hollow city (I bought the entire series at once, so I had it anyway). Again I'll put the summary for miss peregrines home, no spoilers here :)
A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of curious photographs.
A horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.
Another book I'd love to read is Of beast and beauty, my friend told me about it and it seemed quit nice, also it's a standalone (for as far as I know) which is nice sometimes.
In the city of Yuan, the blind princess Isra is raised to be a human sacrifice. Her death will ensure the city's vitality. The desert, a mutant beast named Gem fights to save his people, known as the monstrous, from starvation. Neither dreams that, together, they can return balance to their worlds. When Gem is captured for trying to steal Yuan's enchanted roses, he becomes a prisoner of the city. Isra enlists his help, and soon begins to care for him - and to question everything she has been brought up to believe.
Heartless, another one of those super hyped books, and it seemed awesome to me, I'm a huge Alice's adventures in Wonderland fan, so why not.
Catherine may be one of the most desired girls in Wonderland and a favorite of the unmarried King, but her interests lie elsewhere. A talented baker, she wants to open a shop and create delectable pastries. But for her mother, such a goal is unthinkable for a woman who could be a queen.
At a royal ball where Cath is expected to receive the King’s marriage proposal, she meets handsome and mysterious Jest. For the first time, she feels the pull of true attraction. At the risk of offending the King and infuriating her parents, she and Jest enter into a secret courtship.
Cath is determined to choose her own destiny. But in a land thriving with magic, madness, and monsters, fate has other plans.
And last but not least is The fifth wave, obviously an insanely populair book and I didn't really plan on reading it until I found a copy at the thrift store for literally €1,50 so why not, the story does seem nice though.
The 1st wave took half a million people. The 2nd wave put that number to shame. The 3rd wave lasted a little bit longer, twelve weeks...four billion dead. In the 4th wave, you can't trust that people are still people. And the 5th wave? No one knows, but it's coming.

I hope you guys enjoyed and maybe I inspired some of you into reading some of these books, have a nice summer.
