Spoiler free review: The Space Between Us

"As much as I want Earth... Earth Doesn't WANT ME!"

The space between us tells the story of Gardner. Gardner is born on Mars and has been there his entire life. But Gardner wants nothing more than to go to Earth, many people disagree since his body probably won't be able to handle out gravity, but Gardner is determined to come to Earth. In the mean time he has been chatting with a girl from Earth, Tulsa, and he wants nothing more than to meet her. Wanting to be with Tusla and to find his father might not be easy but Gardner is settled on this plan. If only his body will be strong enough..

I really loved this movie, the story really grabbed me from the first moment; life on another planet might not be that far away and this movie really played with that idea. It's really funny to see how Gardner obviously doesn't understand how things work here, he has never left Mars and that causes a lot of funny moment. Gardner really is a hopeless romantic in every way while Tulsa tries to not show any emotion scared of being hurt. These two personalities really play nicely together. I personally love Asa Butterfield anyway, but again with this movie he portrays Gardner really well! The story is funny, romantic and sad in ways all together. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
