spoiler free review: avengers infinity war
"The entire time I knew him, he only ever had one goal. To wipe out half the universe. If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers. Just like that."
after a ten year journey the marvel superheroes will face their greatest enemy so far. the avengers together with the guardians and doctor strange and black panther have to prevent Thanos from getting all 6 infinity stones since he will be able to wipe out half the universe if he does. what will they have to sacrifice to accomplish this seemingly impossible task..
o m g, what else can I say, this movie is everything and nothing you expect it to be. we've been waiting for this for ten years so the anticipation is so high and I was so not let down. the story line is just so asdfghjkl, it's so good. a lot happens in the very first scene so you're instantly thrown in the middle of the movie and heartbreak starts instantly. everybody was hating on Thanos' cgi, byt honestly I didn't even really think about it; it didn't bother me. a lot of elements from the other movies get included, like Thor's past and pain and Tony's struggle to just be with Pepper. even though the movie was almost three hours long I wasn't bored for a single second and every second was filled. I guess the most f**ed up part of it all was that Thanos, on a level, seemed to have a good point. his reasoning isn't all that bad, but there are just too many other people to care about.I really liked Gamora's role in this movie, she was a lot more important than I would have expected and I really liked it. some parts could have definitely had more detail and some moments would have been better if they had been stretched a little. it's almost hard to care about some things when they happen in a split second and don't get mentioned throughout the rest of the movie.
But all in all I definitely think we got what we had been waiting for for such a long time. I am incredibly excited for the next avengers movie and I'm curious what they will do next.
"In time, you will know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right. Yet to fail all the same. Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives."
